Abstract

Beer has an incredibly rich history. Therefore, I would like to take you on a journey through beer history, from prehistory to the present day. During my presentation, we will focus on the developments that have both directly and indirectly contributed to today's beer, as well as how this beer is produced today. Naturally, we will discuss the beer process in detail, with some tips & tricks here and there. Besides knowing how beer is made, it is, of course, also important to know how to taste beer. At the end, there will also be a guided tasting session where you can taste exclusively brewed beers from the UAntwerpen.
