8th International symposium on Hormone and Veterinary Drug Residue Analysis

On behalf of the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ghent University, the Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) and the Organizing Committee we cordially invite you to take part in the Eighth International Symposium on Hormone and Veterinary Drug Residue Analysis to be held in Ghent from 22 to 25 May, 2018.

The 2018 Symposium will attempt to continue the tradition of the meetings held in Ghent (1988, 1990, 1992, 2010 and 2014), in Bruges (1994 and 1998) and in Antwerp (2002 and 2006). It will consist of plenary lectures, presented by invited speakers outstanding in the domain, of contributed papers (20 min communications or posters), and of a technical exhibition of scientific instruments and related products.

As a result of a fair arrangement with the organizing committee of EuroResidue, the other most important conference series in the field, our meetings are organized alternatively every two years.
Attention will also be paid to the socio-cultural program. The town of Ghent is a major cultural, historical, economic and touristic centre, with easy access to other interesting sites in Belgium. The Flemish hospitality is well known to everyone who has been in the region before. It would be a great pleasure to welcome you at our conference in Ghent!
