Short description: Lecture about the history, production andconsummation of chocolate. How healthy is chocolate?

This lecture revolves entirely around chocolate and focusses on:

  • What is the current status of chocolate production in Belgium?
  • Is chocolate consumed most in Belgium?
  • The chocolate production process: now and then.
  • Quality control: soundwaves reveal chocolate secrets.
  • How healthy is chocolate really?

The lecture will be followed by a tasting where we will promote different chocolate-beer combinations.

The chocolates will be artisanal made by master chocolate-maker Olivier at Chocolaterie Delvaux.
